MiKim FX AQ Matte Black is a heavily pigmented, water activated, glycerin based cake makeup that gives excellent coverage. MiKim Makeup works great for blending as well as for line work. Once dry, the finish is light and comfortable on skin. A setting spray is recommended for smudge proof finish and for long lasting applications. A small amount of AQ makeup goes a long way. AQ Makeup can be applied dry or wet. 17 gram pots can be screwed together for easy storage and portability.
Mikim Color AQ Black (F27) is a flat/matte black comparable to Paradise black in how it looks after dry on the skin. (It is not as strong a black as Diamond FX or Wolfe black.) As with whites, I use at least three blacks: one lining black, one flat/matte black, and one pearl black. Because I use them for different purposes, for a black to fall into the flat/matte arena is not a negative attribute. It smears minimally after it dries, but does stain the skin slightly.
