Domed Split CakesÂ
are raised in the center, designed specially to solve the classic problem artists face generally with split cakes as the paints tend to wear out quickly in the center and create messy puddles and mixing of colors. Domed design is also faster to load due to the curved surface with more surface area. Excess water that comes to the sides of the cake can be easily drained out by flipping the cake to the side. Domed Split Cakes tend to give more value by reducing the amount of paint waste compared to classic split cakes.Kraze FX Face Paint is a wax-based formula with high pigmentation, that works best for line work. Quick drying formula is equally good for blending, base work or layering. Wax based formula offers a smooth, solid coverage that will flex with skin movements to last all day without fading or cracking.
Kraze Paints can be easily activated with water and applied using a brush or sponge.Â
Each 25 gram Split Cake is good for 50-150 applications.

Neon colors as with most other brands are not tested by FDA for cosmetic use on skin and hence are labeled for use as Hair & Special FX only. Independent studies have however deemed them safe for use on skin and face painters have been using them for designs without known issues. In general, FDA does recommend that reds (this includes yellows and oranges) and blues (this includes greens and purples) as well as neon colors should not be used around the eye and lip area or left on the skin too long.
